This policy explains what information Central Valley Grease Co. (“we,” “us”) collects through centralvalleygrease.com, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Central Valley Grease Co. connects restaurants and commercial kitchens in California’s Central Valley with independent grease service providers. We do not perform grease trap, grease interceptor or used cooking oil services ourselves, so sharing your request with a suitable provider is a core part of how we help you.
Information you give us
When you submit the Request Service form, we collect:
- Restaurant or business name and contact name
- Phone number and, if you provide it, email address
- Service address and city
- The type of service you need, when it was last serviced, whether it is urgent, the number of locations, and whether you also have used cooking oil for pickup
- Any additional details you choose to include
- Your agreement to be contacted about your request
Information collected automatically
- Where your visit came from. If you reach the site through a link that carries campaign tags (such as UTM parameters) or an advertising click identifier, those values are added to your form submission, along with the page you landed on and the website that referred you. The site holds these values in your browser’s session storage during your visit so they can be attached to the form. Session storage is not a cookie and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Hosting records. Our website host, Netlify, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and protect the site.
- Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If we add them, we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and contact you about it
- To understand your needs and match you with a suitable service provider
- To coordinate service and, if you become a recurring customer, to help track when your next service is due
- To keep records of requests and prevent spam or misuse of the form
- To meet legal obligations
How we share your information
- With service providers relevant to your request. To arrange service, we share the details needed to quote, schedule or perform it, such as your business name, contact details, service address and the service information you submitted. Each provider handles that information under its own privacy practices.
- With companies that run our website and receive inquiries. Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions, and submission notifications are delivered to us by email.
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect our rights, our users or others.
- In a business transfer, if Central Valley Grease Co. is sold, merged or reorganized.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, coordinate service, maintain business records and meet legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you submit, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you. To do that, submit the Request Service form and write “Privacy request” in the additional details. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
